Aggie season tickets on sale!

LAWTON, Oklahoma (November 6) – Season tickets for the 2008-2009 Cameron Aggie men’s and women’s basketball season are now on sale! For just $80 a seat Aggie fans can enjoy 16 home dates and 27 home games in the recently renovated Aggie Gym. With that many home dates against opponents such as Central Oklahoma, Midwestern State, Newman, and Dallas Baptist, the Aggies appear to have an extensive and exciting 2008-2009 season in store.

Fans interested in purchasing season tickets can call Brenda Russell in the Cameron athletic ticket office at (580)581-2228. Season ticket holders are allowed to choose their seats, and an embossed nameplate bearing the season ticket holder’s name is affixed to the back of each seat purchased.

Aggie basketball season tickets are good for both men’s and women’s basketball, and members of the Cameron Gold Club receive a 50% discount. For information on joining the Cameron Gold Club, contact Athletic Director Jim Jackson at (580)581-2306 or jjackson@cameron.edu, or visit the Cameron Athletic website at goaggies.cameron.edu.

Single game tickets are $6 for adults, $4 for high school students and senior citizens (65+), and $1 for non-active and retired members of the military and their families. All Cameron University faculty, staff, and students, as well as children in the 8th grade and below get in free of charge. Active military members and their families also get in free.

The Aggie women’s basketball team kicked off their 2008-2009 season last Saturday with an 83-82 exhibition defeat of the Oklahoma Flyers, an all-star team of former collegiate women’s basketball players from around the region. The Cameron men’s basketball team begins their season with an exhibition against the nationally-ranked #12 Oklahoma Sooners at 12:00pm this Saturday (November 8) in Norman, Oklahoma.

Aggie fans who are unable to attend the CU-OU basketball game this weekend can tune their radio dials to 1380AM, The Ticket for a live broadcast of the game. Live stats and streaming video is also available on the Oklahoma Athletic website, soonersports.com.
